The Hampshire, Franklin & Hampden Agricultural Society is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and relies on annual support from our members and outside contributions to help fund every aspect of the Fairgrounds — from regular maintenance and day-to-day operations to long term improvements, donations allow the Fairgrounds to conduct and host important agricultural themed activities and events that benefit the community and grow cultural vitality. Every dollar you generously give to the General Fund or Redevelopment Fund goes directly into furthering our mission and delivering amazing experiences to visitors of all ages.

We are seeking reliable and personable volunteers for the 2018 Three County Fair over Labor Day Weekend. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting Fair Staff and Department Heads in a variety of logistical and operational activities, as well as performing Guest Service & Relations to the Fairgoers while following all site health and safety regulations. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential.

Volunteer Duties and Responsibilities:
Follow instructions from Fair Staff and Department Heads
Assist with a variety of logistical and operational tasks associated with the Fair and daily activities
Follow all health and safety regulations
Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner

Volunteer Requirements and Qualifications:
Ability to volunteer at least one day of the Fair (Aug. 31-Sept 3)
Must be at least 16 years of age
Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 pounds
Positive attitude and work ethic
Able to work independently or as an active member of a team
Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
Event experience a plus
